District Merit Scholarship/Jilla Merit Award Renewal Application 2023-24

Renewal applications are also invited for students who have previously received the District Merit Scholarship. To be considered for renewal, you must have maintained a good academic record and continued to excel in your studies. You will need to provide updated certificate and evidence of your ongoing academic achievements.

Eligibility Should have scored A Plus in all subjects in the SSLC Examination March 2016, 2017, 2018,2019, 2020, 2021 conducted by Board of Public Examinations, Kerala State.
Applicants must have received the 2021–2022 District Merit Scholarship.
Applicants should have scored 50% in all subjects in the Semester/Annual Examination.

    You need to renew your DMS scholarship this year. Only renewed applications were considered for awarding scholarships. After renewal, submit the renewal registration printout and supporting documents to the Principal of your school. Then only the school can do further online process (Verification and Approval) of your application. Only the Applications approved by the school authorities were considered for awarding scholarships in the Second year.

    Hundreds of really brilliant students are studying in Open Regular Private system through the KSOS. It is natural that they be made eligible for all benefits available to their counterparts in regular schools. Dist Merit Scholarship is just one of them There is no clarity about whether Open Regulars are eligible for applying for DMS.
    Please initiate a discussio, leading to some decision on this burning issue.

    Over a dozen students submitted a written request seeking Open Regular students eligibility for DMS to the State Commission for child rights. The Commission didn't even reply. This is clear violation of rights.If not for this, then what for this commission?
