December 1, is observed globally as World AIDS Day. The day reminds us that HIV infection is still posing a serious threat to the human race and that the society has a lot to do in preventing HIV as well as in taking care of the infected.As part of observance of World AIDS Day on December 1st , it is directed to include a pledge and a talk on HIV in the assembly on all schools in the State on 1st December 2012. Resource Persons like Medical officer, Health Inspectors may be invited from the nearest PHC/CHC/ Taluk Hospitals for the talk on HIV.
