Steps to Process Salary Arrear(Due to Pay Revision Anomaly Rectification of HSS Scales wef 11/04/2013
Step 1
Select Pay Revision editing available in Salary Matters
Step 2
Change the Present Salary (Basic Pay according to New Scale) and Change Last pay change date to 11/04/2013 (Date of order of anomaly rectification) because monetary benefits only w.e.f 11/04/2013.
Step 3
For Salary Arrear processing (due to pay revision anomaly rectification), change the service history correctly as follows.
If service entry from 2012 not seen in service history, Insert new entry for 2012 to 2013 (In new service entry Basic pay must be basic pay before anomaly rectification &To Date must be 10/04/2013 AN)
Step 4
Then process salary arrear from 11/04/2013 as shown in the figure below
Imp : Process this salary arrears before processing DA arrears for the period January 2013 to June 2013

BUT SIR, SPARK YET NOT CHANGE THE SCALE OF PAY IN THEIR SITE.WHEN SPARK CHANGE THE SCALE OF PAY THEN ONLY ARREAR PAY CAN CLAIM.

Those who joined in 2008 or 2007 may be benefited.Use Service Consultant Ver 4.5 available in Software section(HSSLive)check is there any benefits for you.

ReplyDeleteAn employee of our institution appointed as leave substitute had approval up to 27-08-2012.But the salary of that employee for August 2012 was processed for 31 days instead of 27 days.Hence the employee refunded the excess salary drawn ie for 4 days.Now this employee has got approval from 28-08-2012 to 27-08-2013.
How can I process the salary arrears of the above employee?(i.e from 28-08-2012 to 30-06-2013)
I tried to enter the excess salary through 'manually drawn link' as - ve values.But a message is coming that value less than zero is not allowed.How can I solve the above problem?

Change the basic pay in Pay revision editing menu(Carefully change last pay change date and next pay change date)

ReplyDeleteThis method is incorrect according to the sub treasuries in kerala. We have to process the salary arrears and not the pay revision arrears. the pay revision outer bill doesnt have the basic pay and DA in separate. Anyway thanks for this valuable information

the scale of pay of teachers as per go.168/2013 dtd 11/04/2013 was not updated in spark database.it creats problems in sanctioning increment whose basic pay is 37040 from 01/07/2012.the next increment is due from 01/07/2013.now it can be processed only as stagnation increment.pls try to modify the scale of pay of teachers as per the said go. in the spark database.

ReplyDeleteLPSA opted revised scale of pay (11620-20240) on 01.07.09 .Basic pay fixed 12550.
as per modified scale basic pay changed to 13210 on 01.07.09 option date not changed
when arrear bill from(1.07.2013 to 30.06.2013) submitted to the treasury they wanted to fixation statement along with the bill and objected .
7.existing scale of pay(in full) as on date of option (in statement form) 6680-10790 or 11620-20240

A teacher in our institution got the appointment order on 11.02.2013 with basic pay 16180.She drawn the first salary for the month of May 2013 onwards.But her basic pay is revised to 16980 w.e from 11.4.2013.I updated her necessary service history details.I processed her salary arrear bill from 11.02.2013 onwards.But in salary arrear bill,pay due for the month of 2/2013 is shown as 16980 instead of 16180.The remaining amount for different months are correct..So pls provide a solution to this problem

ReplyDeleteI think this is a mistake of spark software(Arrers of staff joined after month of December showing some mistakes).Only Spark executive can solve this problem. Contact Spark call center
