    Use WAMPSERVER for executing php programs. This software is the one that is mentioned in the +2 textbook. Also there is no additional configuration required for WampServer like Abyss web server.
    Just install the software, start the server and run the program.

    Use xampp or wamp for better and easy installation. So that you can avoid configuring each of the PHP, Apache and MySQL individually. Its a package released by "apachefriends", which includes the PHP, Apache and MySQL. You have to just download it from website of apache and install like any other normal softwares, no more settings or configuration needed.

    I INSTALLED BOTH ABYSS WEB SERVER AND PHP. AND ALSO PHP IS CONFIGURED . HOWEVER I CANN'T WORK PHP. WHEN I GIVE http://localhost/phpinfo.php IN URL IT RESULTS IN DOWNLOADING OF THAT SOURCE CODE. WHAT I WANT TO DO?
    IF I GO THROGH AN HTML PAGE, THEN JUST VIEW THE PHP SOURCE CODE OF THAT PAGE.
    AND ALSO THIS MESSAGE. " WEBSERVER HALTED.
    Cannot listen to the console port
    The console is not running " I CANNOT CHANGE THE CONSOLE PORT.SINCE AUTO DETECT IS NOT WORKING. IF I GIVE ANY NUMBER, THEN GIVE A MESSAGE IT IS AN ALREADY USED PORT.
