Update:The DHSE has cancelled the circular regarding the ban on the use of logarithm table in the book form for the impending DHSE exam March 2017,due to lack of clarity in the instructions. As per the new circular, the candidate can make use of logarithm table in the book form as used previously.Download Circular
It has been instructed by Director of Higher Secondary Education that the students are denied the use of Logarithm Table/Clark's table in book form in their examination hall for their Higher Secondary Public examination in March 2017. Instead they are directed to download certain pages of logarithm book for the same. Click the link below to download Logarithm Table for Higher Secondary Examination.
is there any restrictions for scientific calculators ?
ReplyDeletePls Read Guidelines : Scientific Calculator in HSS Exams
DeleteSir how is this gonna work? wat do we do ? buy another calc just for few weeks which will be of no use in the future...!! And Clark's table too.. Such quick decisions make xams worse.. And now wat will we do in this 11th hour..!!!Board of exams should try to understand our feelings too.. :(
Deleteshall we use logarithm table instead of clarks table
DeleteSir what about periodic table and its atomic mass
ReplyDeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteI plead you to please took of this before examination starts because sudden implication of such law will create lot of problems to us, ie in this whole year we depended on that clark's table for reffering atomic numbes, formulae etc. So i beleive you will act poitively
regarsa
So, Clarks table is not allowed?
ReplyDeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteWhat can we do at this moment. We depended a lot on Clark's table for periodic table and the atomic number. This rule will really make problems. Please try to understand the mass feeling.Already the syllabus is wast and wide.So we don't have enough time to by heart some values that provided in periodic table. Please try to bring back the clarks table.
WE ARE SCREWED! THAT'S IT
Delete=D>
DeleteIs there any restrictions for periodic table?
ReplyDeleteIf periodic table is also not allowed we're gonna suffer!!!
ReplyDeleteCAN U NAME THE SERIES OF CALCULATORS THAT CAN BE USED
ReplyDeleteI think fx 82 only
DeleteYou can use Casio FX 82MS and FX 100MS (The ones with single line syntax display)
DeleteWhoah! Amazing decision. Really, am AMAZED.. Implementing such a law with exams due in 2 weeks ? Hats OFF
ReplyDeleteThese logarithmic values are not really necessary for exams.. We need atomic values, and the integrated equations, which are very hard to by-heart. Please do think twice before taking these decisions. This ain't CBSE/ICSE syllabus...
ReplyDeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteActually the logarithmic values are not really needed for exams. We need "Formulae", "Periodic Table"... Most of the students depends upon "CLARK'S TABLE" and go for exams. If you move forward with such decisions at final hours of EXAM it cannot be agreed by 99.5% of the students. The students those who are below average will suffer because atleast to pass the exam they need the science data's for attaining some marks otherthan C.E marks. So Such decisions are painful to all students and it will make problems.Student's will react against such rules and decisions. So plezzz think about pathetic condition of students and make decisions. Plezzz......
You are absolutely right.Hope that they will consider
DeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteRecently there is no use with such log values and also we didn't studied how to calculate these log and its values, these things are took of from syllabus before. So kindly impliment a circular which favour to use clark's table while examination
Sir,
ReplyDeleteThank you for freezing the circular,Otherwise it becomes a worse to us.
it is a big punishment to students plans about examination, and as well as a grate revolution in bord examination.
ReplyDeleteDear Students,
ReplyDeleteAs per the new circular, you can make use of logarithm table in the book form as used previously. Best wishes for your exams. g-)

ReplyDeleteGlad to see that you cancelled the circular.
ReplyDeletethanks for removing the order:)
ReplyDeleteIs the Clark's Table useable for exams? And are scientific calculators useable? How about the Canon F-718SGA?
ReplyDeleteSecond clause in the ban statement is not clear as it is telling that 'only single lined scientific calculators are permitted'. And the nightmare is that sharp is the one and only brand which provides their consumers with single lined sci-calcs.
ReplyDeleteHope these lines are taken into authorities consideration.
TYSM 4 this 11th hr declaration (sarcasm XD)
Btw 4got 2 ask 1 doubt... is this circular still applicable or removed....😅😅
DeleteNo restrictions on Clarks table in book format.
