B.Tech and B.Arch in Manipal University

The candidates who are willing to pursuit a career in B.Tech. in various trades like Aeronautical engineering, Automobile Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer& Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Communication, Industrial & Production Engineering, Information Technology, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Mechetronics and Printing Technology in Manipal Institute of Technology, it is time to have a good start.

Eligibility

Plus two passed candidates with 50% marks in Physics, Maths, English and any one of the optional subjects as Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology or any technical vocational subjects are eligible to apply. There is no age limit. 

For doing B.Arch courses, the plus two passed candidates (with Maths & English) or 3 year Diploma course passed candidates in any of its trades with 50% marks in Maths and English together and who obtained 40% of marks in NATA ( National Aptitude Test for Architecture) should apply before 31st of May 2018 and NATA score also be sent on or before 15th of June 2018. They should remit a fee of Rs.600/-

Entrance Examination

The applicants should attend MU-OET, a 2 hrs duration test with 200 multiple choice questions from physics(50), Chemistry(50), Maths(70), English & General Aptitude(30) of the plus two syllabus of prominent Universities or Boards.

Centre code and Test Location

Except codes 16,25,31,36,37,43,46, all others would be the test centres for 1&II attempt; for the III attempt, 3,9,14,15,18,21,22,23. The test schedule can be of candidate choice.

Exam date 

I & II attempt – 24-04-2018 to 15-05-2018 

I & III attempt – 17-05-2018

Application Fee

A minimum score of 50% is mandatory to get through this test. Candidates should remember to upload their photograph and signature copy of required size while applying online along with the fee Rs.2000/- by credit or debit card or NEFT. Payment of fee can also be done by DD drawn in favour of Manipal Acadamy of Higher Education, payable at Manipal or Udupi. The details must be entered in the online application and the DD should reach the Director Indian Admissions, Room No 103, Maniapal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka by courier. Last date for online application is 11th March 2018.
