The competitions are scheduled to be conducted in 2 sections.
1.Junior Category : age should be between 10 and 13
2.Senior Category : age should be between 14 – 18
The items for competition are given below:
1. Essay Writing competition
Topic – Climatic Change and the need to protect bio diversity

2. Photography Contest
Topic – climatic change and the need to protect bio diversity
An application along with 3 photographs of 1mb to 5mb size must be submitted. Download the application to participate in the competition from the following link.

3. Project Presentation
Project presentation will be conducted at the district level and a certificate also will be issued. The winners who occupy the first two places in the senior and junior level will be provided with an opportunity to present their project at the state level in the 11th Bio diversity Congress.
Topics
1.Flood related impact and losses to Bio diversity and the best short term strategy to mitigate the losses.
2.What are the reasons for the recent flood and what is the long term strategy to prevent and overcome such calamities.
3.What are the traditional knowledge and practices associated with flood calamities? How to revive loss of traditional knowledge and practices available with Tribals, vaidyans, farmers etc.
A project presenting team may consist of 2 students where as the team leader only will be able to participate in the state level. Click the below link for details.
