A training programme called, Sastrapatham is being conjointly organized by the Samagra Shiksha Kerala and the Department of Higher Secondary Education to develop interest and aptitude in Mathematics and Science among the first year students doing Higher Secondary course. It is a three day training programme aiming to upskill and update the science talent and mathematical ability of plus one students. Hence the students who have genuine interest and ability should be provided the chance to participate in the training programme to empower their prowess.
The Principals of each institution should select two students from plus one class studying in science stream, who satisfy the above mentioned criteria. To find out the deserving one, a selection test like, quiz programme can be conducted at the school level. Selected students’ details along with phone number and school mail id should be forwarded to the Samagra shiksha on or before 5th January 2019.
The training is scheduled to be conducted from 10th January 2019 in selected colleges in each district. Of the list made avilable to Samagra Shiksha from each school, only 50 students from each district will be getting the opportunity to become the beneficiary of this academic enhancement programme.
