Kerala state level competitions, India skills 2020 conjointly organised by the Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE) and Industrial Training Department under Employment and Skills Dept will be conducted on February 15, 16 and 17 2020 at Calicut. In 2018, India Skills Kerala conducted the same only in 20 skills. But this year, the development of IT sector has made it possible to extend it to 42 different skills.

To find out the ‘talented minds’ for this, Kerala State Dept of Employment and Skills organizes competitions in 42 skills:-
Auto Body Repair, Automobile Technology, Bakery, Beauty Therapy, Brick Laying, Cabinet Making, CNC Turning, CNC Milling, Electrical Installations, Electronics, Fashion Technology, Floristry, Hair Dressing, Health and Social Care, Hotel Receptionist, Jewelry, Joinery, Landscape Gardening, Painting and Decorating, Plastic Die Engineering, Plumbing and Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Restaurant Service, Wall and Floor tiling, Water Technology, Web Technologies, Welding, 3D Digital Game Art, Cloud Computing, IT Software Solutions for Business, Car Painting, Carpentry, IT Network System Administration, Patisseries and Confectionery, Mechanical Engineering CAD, Mobile Robotics, Graphic Design Technology, IT Network Cabling, Print Media Technology, Cooking, Plastering and drywall system.
Levels
India Skills Kerala 2020 is scheduled to be conducted at 3 levels. The district level competitions will be from 2019, December 14 – 19 and the zonal level will be at Trivandrum, Ernakulam and Calicut from January 10 – 15 and the grand finale at the state level will be at Calicut from February 15 to 17. World Skill competitions 2020 will find its venue in Shanghai, China.
How to Register ?
Registration for the India Skills Kerala 2020 competition starts from 8th November 2019. Those who are born on or after 01/01/1996 only can apply for Cloud computing, Cyber Technology, IT Network Cabling, Water Technology skills and for the rest of the skills, the date of birth should be 01/01/1999 or after. It has been planned to conduct India Skills 2020 with a variety entertainment programmes, exhibitions and competitions.
