In the government service, there are certain formalities with regard to service matters to be done at the time of promotion from one grade to other in the same department or other departments.
In the case of Education department, in the Higher Secondary section, while the junior teachers are promoted as seniors, they enter into a gazetted post. DDO’s of that institution also should enter certain details of of the promoted officer.
A few things have to be done immediately after the promotion for the Higher Secondary teachers. After relieving from the present school of working, they should join in the school where they are appointed after promotion.
Since, it is a gazetted post, ‘Report of Transfer of Charge’ should be sent to the Directorate and AG’s office too. Moreover, an Entitlement Register should be opened in the AG’s office as all the salary entries and leaves taken should be updated there for the gazetted post.
Apart from this, the DDOs also should forward these details to the authorities concerned.
