What is the significance of Transfer Certificate(TC)?
The School transfer certificate(TC) is issued to a student by an institution where the student studied on regular basis for getting admission in another institution. It is to release a student from one school so that they can join another to continue their studies. It is intended to ensure that the student study their regular course in one institution only. Under this circumstance, the issue of TC has its own significance. If the student has got his TC but lost, he /she should get a duplicate one.
How to apply for Duplicate TC?
If a student has irrecoverably lost or damaged his original TC, he should apply for a duplicate TC. The application should be accompanied by a chalan for rupees 10 and a certificate from a gazetted officer or the president of local body(Panchayath) or MLA or MP stating that the original certificate is irrecoverably lost or damaged. Duplicate transfer certificate will be marked, ‘duplicate' on it. A chalan for the duplicate TC should be paid under the head of account 0202-01-102-97 (03) other receipts.Related Downloads |
