The SCERT has started the developmental activity of revising the curriculum for the Department of General Education. Reforms will be implemented taking into consideration the developments in different fields of knowledge over the past few years.
As part of this, state School curriculum steering committee and curriculum core committee are formed and the follow up activities are going on as per the decision of the committee. It has been planned by the Government of Kerala to hold public discussions to get the opinion as well as the suggestions of the common people regarding curriculum.
Kerala Curriculum Framework-A Note for Public Debate
For the formation of the curriculum frame work, four curriculum frame works will be drafted. Based on this frame work, text books and related materials will be developed. Tech Platform
Moreover, a ‘Tech platform' will be prepared by the Department of Public Instruction for submission of proposals and by considering the public opinion, position papers will be prepared.
