As
per the Persons with Disability Act 1995 and Rights of Persons with disability Act 2016, 3% of total
seats should be filled by PWD in the order of Visually challenged, hearing impaired, immobile
persons and those affected by Cerebral palsy or locomotor disability with effect from 07/02/1996
and 4% of seats from 19/04/2017 in aided schools.
The govt offices or institutions which have not
conducted any appointments for the differently abled should also appoint in the vacant posts as
backlog vacancies.
